Family Dental Care of Smyrna offers various payment options so that you feel comfortable and at ease on the day of your appointment. We pride ourselves in being a dental office that offers flexible options and payment plans that will allow you to come back for all your dental needs. Please review our payment choices below.
Cash and Personal Checks
Paying with cash is one of the most common and reliable ways to pay for our services. Since cash payments can be more convenient and quick, you may decide to opt for this method of payment.
Aside from cash, we also accept personal checks as payment for our dental services. Our staff will assist you in writing the check so make sure you seek their assistance and ask any questions if needed.
Credit cards are a very common method of payment these days, and as such we also accept them as a method of payment. We accept various types of credit cards such as Visa and Mastercard. For a complete list of the credit cards we accept, or if you are unsure if we accept your card, call our office and we will be glad to verify such information.
Our office accepts CareCredit, a healthcare credit card that is used to pay for out-of-pocket expenses not covered by dental insurance. CareCredit is subject to credit approval, but once you are accepted, you can use it again and again. CareCredit is a great option if you're on a budget, in that you can pay for your dental expenses in installments. Ask us about CareCredit today! Applying is easy, and we are here to answer any questions.
There are various dental insurance plans today and many of the plans fully cover or partially cover your basic dental work including teeth cleanings, fillings, check-ups and even necessary dental surgery.
However, it is important that you verify if we are an accepted provider to use through your dental insurance. Since dental plans can vary in terms of services covered and accepted providers, it is a good idea for you talk to your insurance to understand your plan and prepare before your visit with us. Keep in mind that if your dental insurance only covers part of your services, you will have a balance remaining for which you can pay through our other payment options available. If you are paying your dental services through your insurance, please make sure to bring your insurance card and a form of ID the day of your visit.
